The project area is located in Kadıkoy Moda, one of the oldest in istanbul. The neighbourhood has a beach which is an address for people to socialize, walk, skate and do all kinds of sports. Regarding that this popular beach was chosen as a site for extreme sport activities. Boat sails which are a big part of the beautiful view from moda, was used as a symbol to create the concept of the project. The sail figure, created with the space cage determined as the carrier system, streches out on the sea. This eave was covered with a reflective surface below in order to give a 5th facade to the project. This also offers people passing or below a different experience with nature reflections such as the horizon, the sky and the sea. The project’s program consists of skateboard areas, a boulder space, re-designed landscape, staff rooms, locker rooms, showers, WCs and storage.
